Cover Versions

For the second cover versions post, I thought I would post different versions of the same song. So we have 3 versions of the Bob Dylan classic , “It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue”.

First up we have Van Morrison’s old band Them. Formed in Belfast in the early 60’s, Them released 5 albums between 1965 and 1968, however Morrison left the group in 1966 soon after the album, “Them Again” , where this track is taken.    ysi     zshare

Next up we have the classic psych band the 13th Floor Elevators version. This is taken from their 2nd album, “Easter Everywhere” released in 1967.    ysi     zshare

And finally we have a version by another 60’s psychedelic group, the Druids of Stonehenge. I know very little about this band, but they only had one album, the 1968 “Creation” lp.    ysi     zshare
